新世代制作人EkII 首张 EP《ABYSSAL CALLOUT》于 2025 年初夏发布。作为成长于传统音乐学院体系的爵士鼓手，他在严肃训练与东京演出现场之间来回拉扯，压抑感积聚，最终以原始直觉的电子语言挣脱束缚，踏上在系统边界外寻找自我声音的旅程。
这张 EP 写于人生低谷，是一次对旧我的摧毁与重构。前两首与歌手 MalangUwanna 合作，以 Glitch 吉他与调制曲线捕捉挣扎情绪；第三首回应尼采对叔本华的反叛，以 Breakbeat 和 Footwork 的躁动节奏召唤出超人的意志与冒险精神。
EkII 采样空调声等日常噪音，搭配切割重组的人声片段，制造出边界模糊的“不可控真实”。那些他曾排斥的声音，并由好友444theGod提供了混音和母带的独特质感，如今成为语言的一部分。《ABYSSAL CALLOUT》是一场音乐冒险，也是一种自我唤醒。

Emerging producer EkII releases his debut EP ABYSSAL CALLOUT in the early summer of 2025. Trained as a jazz drummer within a classical conservatory system, he found himself torn between rigid discipline and the raw energy of Tokyo’s live scenes. The growing sense of confinement eventually led him to break free through instinct-driven electronic expression — a journey toward discovering his own voice beyond the boundaries of structure.
Written during a personal low point, the EP serves as both destruction and reconstruction of the self. The first two tracks, featuring vocalist MalangUwanna, weave glitch guitars and modulated curves into a sonic portrait of emotional struggle. The third track draws on Nietzsche’s rebellion against Schopenhauer, channeling a restless energy through breakbeats and footwork — a call to the will to power and the spirit of risk.
EkII samples everyday noise — the hum of air conditioners, environmental static — blending them with chopped and reassembled vocal fragments to create a blurred, “uncontrollable reality.” Once-rejected sounds now form the language of the record, further shaped by the distinct mixing and mastering touch of close collaborator 444theGod.

新進気鋭の貴州出身プロデューサー、EkIIのデビューEP『ABYSSAL CALLOUT』が2025年夏にリリースされる。ジャズドラマーとして東京で鍛えられた彼は、制度と美学の狭間を反転し、理性からノイズ、訓練から直感へとシフトしていった。これは「音楽教育」の果てで生まれた、個人的崩壊と再構築の記録だ。
個人的な低迷期に制作されたこのEPは、グリッチギターと歪んだボーカル（MalangUwanna参加）から始まり、ブレイクビートやフットワークの爆発へと展開する――ニーチェ的な反逆と内なる再生へのオマージュだ。

EkII 是来自贵阳的制作人与爵士鼓手。大学毕业后赴日深造，师从 Dennis Frehse、大坂昌彦、横山和明，就读于昭和音乐大学。
旅日期间，他活跃于东京电子与嘻哈音乐场景，曾与 Hiphop 音乐人 Duoble Zhuo 合作单曲“FOOTONFOOT”，并参与 99god 与日本说唱歌手 PAIN 的 remix 单曲“Bodega (Remix)”制作，该曲登上日本 Spotify 当日嘻哈趋势榜，并入选东京电台 Spincoaster 的 Monday Spin 歌单。

EkII is a producer and jazz drummer from Guizhou. After graduating from university, he went to Japan for further studies, studying under Dennis Frehse, Masahiko Osaka, and Kazuaki Yokoyama at Showa University of Music.
During his time in Japan, he has been active in Tokyo’s electronic and hip-hop scenes. He collaborated with hip-hop artist Duoble Zhuo on the single FOOTONFOOT and contributed to the remix single Bodega (Remix) by 99god and Japanese rapper PAIN. The remix appeared on Japan’s Spotify daily hip-hop trending chart and was featured on Tokyo radio station Spincoaster’s Monday Spin playlist.
