—— Craone

REPRESENTATION
In the mind’s endless reflections, every reality turns to mirage.
From Screen to Sound
Kaleido Mirage originated as a soundtrack for Craone’s stalled semi-autobiographical film. Though production halted, the audio took on a life of its own, evolving into this four-track EP.
Visual Narrative
Inspired by the gritty, improvisational cinematography of John Cassavetes and the Safdie Brothers, Craone translates visual tension into "liquid audio". He deconstructs indie rock’s raw energy and stitches it into the fluid framework of electronic music.
The Night Walk
The EP follows a child’s surreal midnight escapade:
"Kaleido Mirage": A prologue of dissolving consciousness.
"Irregular Rotation": A freefall into neon-lit sensory overload.
"C Dream": An endless exile into a zone of blinding light.
"Closing Show": A haunting jazz finale in a dark theater, looping into chaos.
Analog Grit
Craone blends digital architecture with vintage synths and drum machines to achieve a film-like, imperfect texture. Random internet samples act as dreamlike whispers, pushing experimental boundaries while remaining melodic.
"Music is a private sanctuary. Like an analog projectionist, you are the sole witness to every frame's birth." — Craone

Craone
About Artist
Craone (Li Honghui), born in Nanning in 2003, is an electronic music producer and sound designer.
Rooted in the deep deconstruction of sonic materials, Craone began self-teaching synthesis, piano, and drums at 16. He translates the structural logic and emotional depth of his early rock influences into a distinct electronic syntax. Breaking free from linear melody, he reshapes field recordings, industrial noise, and song fragments into tangible textures, building intricate "auditory landscapes" through recombination.
In film scoring and sound design, Craone’s keen intuition has led his work to international festivals, including DOC NYC and the AVIFF Cannes Art Film Festival. As a multidisciplinary artist, he also leads projects as a photographer and director—a dual perspective that allows him to navigate the boundaries between sight and sound with ease.
Through his trans-media storytelling, Craone continues to capture the "invisible aura"—those fleeting moments between reality and imagination—within the physical vibrations of electronic music.
